2006-2007-2008 and soon 2022...
Some negative news can lead sometimes to surprising changes. The closure of a venue five days before a party with Kurtis Blow lead us to a club where we never had organized any night : an historical venue called Bus Palladium with a capacity of 500 persons. We also needed sometimes to go to larger / different venues for some one-off including :
- Stones Throw 10th year anniversary (with Madlib, J Rocc, Peanut Butter Wolf, Percee P, Daedelus from Ninja Tune, and Dusty from Jazz Liberatorz)
- Fool’s Gold Party at Globo with A-Trak, dj Mehdi, Uffie, Feadz, Kavinsky, Pierre Wax and 2 or maybe 3 000 kids willing to get in…
- Marcos Valle’s live at Maroquinerie
- Waxgroove every 2 months at Nouveau Casino…
But organizing 3 parties a week, drinking 20 glasses of champagne a night, consuming the end of our youth in a club was not our main goal and we decided to
stop in 2008. After a break and some deserved holidays, our first night in 2008 was
on May with the first concert in Paris of Pharoahe Monch and 1300 hysterical persons… See the Next section for our new adventures… We hope our parties will convince you more than our website… |
